Details for SJAB Annual Walkathon 2013

The attendance for this event constitutes towards our Corps Achievement Award (CAA) points. Hence, participation is compulsory. Cadets who are unable to attend the event are required to submit medical certificates. 

Details of the Walkathon

Date: 27 October 2012, Sunday

Time: 0800 – 1130 (approximate)

Reporting Venue: SJAB Headquarters, 420 Beach Road

(Meet Miss Eileen Chua outside the SJAB carpark-Zone 2 signage)

Attire: Zone 2 t-shirt/school PE t-shirt, school PE shorts/track pants, and sports shoes

Bring: Personal water bottle and small towel

* All cadets are to have a full breakfast before the event.

* Please note that cadets must make their own way to HQ. Cadets will be dismissed from there after the event. 

Details for TMS School Open House 2013
Date: 16 Nov 2013
Time: 7.30am to 11.30am or/and 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Student helpers will help out to set up the SJAB booth in the canteen and enquiries from Primary 6 parents/students. CIP hours will be given to student helpers. 

Details for Secondary 2 & 3 Passing out Parade and Ceremony for Non-Commissioned Officer Course and Camp (NCOC) 2013

 SJAB HQ will be promoting cadets who have  passed the NCOC Camp and Examination in June 2013 to the next rank. Below are the details:

NCOC’13 Trainees (ANCO & BNCO)

Date: Sunday, 17th November 2013

Reporting Time: 12.30pm – 6pm

Venue: SJAB HQ Hall, Level 3

Reporting Attire: Half-Uniform (NCO shirt), Bring Full-Uniform with Headdress

*Do have heavy breakfast before reporting.  Do bring along a rag/unwanted cloth

Invited guests: Teachers, Cadets spectators and Parents

Date: Sunday, 17th November 2013

Time: Please be seated by 3pm – 6pm

Venue: SJAB HQ Hall, Level 3

Reporting Attire: Full-Uniform with Headdress for Cadets/Teachers

Parent/invited guest Attire: Smart Casual

* Each NCOC’13 Trainee may send up to 2 family members to grace the event

12 and 14 sept Basic Home Nursing Theory and Practical Examination for Sec 1 Nursing Cadet

Dear Sec 1 Nursing Cadets

Here are the information regarding Basic Home Nursing Theory and Practical followed by Examination
Date: Thursday, 12 September 2013 (9am-6pm)
          Sat, 14 September 2013 (9am-6pm)

Please note the change in the timing. Cadets are to report directly to SJAB Hq. Please arrange your own transport.

Reporting Venue:        St. John HQ, Level 3, Hall

Attire:                           School T-shirt with black track pants and covered shoes

Things to bring:          

1.       Writing materials (w/Note book for taking notes)

2.       (One) 7.5cm crepe bandage

3.       Money for buying of lunch

Civil Defence (10 Sept) and KOTO results

Dear cadets,

Civil Defence Course
Please be reminded that we are going to Bukit Batok Fire Station next Tuesday, 10 Sept, for the Civil Defence Course. Assemble at the school foyer by 800am. Please be punctual. We will not wait for you if you are late as we have to reach by 845am and there might be heavy traffic. 

Reporting time: 800am (at school foyer)

Arrival back in school: 500pm
Attire: SJAB tee / Temasek PE tee and track pants

Things to bring: Writing materials and money for lunch at canteen

KOTO results
We would like to congratulate Ting Xuan and Ricky for passing the KOTO test! :) For the rest of you, we will most probably conduct another KOTO test on 22 October. Please study hard and try again. If you would like to know your score, SMS me.

Here are the important information regarding this Sunday, 1 September: Annual General Inspection.

Reporting Details (Marching Contingent and Reserves)
Time: 2.30pm - 7pm (Please meet Ms Yeo)
Venue: Bedok Stadium (1 Bedok North St 2, Singapore 469642)

Reporting Attire: Half-Uniform with Beret (Zone 2 Shirt + Pants/Qulottes)

Things to Bring: Full Brigade Uniform with Accessories and 1.5L Water Bottle

Please checked through your SJAB uniform thoroughly before leaving home. 
*Transportation and Lunch will not be provided, cadets are advised to have their lunch before reporting.

Reporting Details (Spectators)

Time: 4.30pm - 7pm (To meet Ms Yeo)
Venue: Bedok Stadium (1 Bedok North St 2, Singapore 469642)
Reporting Attire: Full-Uniform with Beret (For Sec 2-3 Cadets)

30 August CCA Training Schedule

Dear Cadets

We will be attending Heritage Trail organised by Sec 3 cadets. Consent form has been issued on 23 August 2013. We will be visiting Singapore Philatelic Museum, Peranakan Museum, Asian Civilisation Museum and the Art House.

Here are some important information:
Time to assemble: 2pm at the SJAB Room
Time for dismissal: 6pm
Attire: School PE Attire
Things to bring: A sling bag consists of Raincoat, a pen, small notebook and water bottle.
Accompanying teachers: Mdm Farhanah, Miss Kwok and Miss Celesta.

*Two Way transport will be provided.

4.20pm-5.30pm: Footdrill
(Those who are involved with this Sunday AGI are to practise their footdrill separately from the rest of the cadets)
5.30pm: Dismissal

Attire: PE Attire, Shorts and TMS Socks.
What to bring: Water bottle.
