0377. Training Programme
For All Members:

1500 – 1515 Opening Parade/ Uniform Check
1515 – 1615 Footdrill
1615 – 1630 Break
1630 – 1745 Home Nursing/Transportation of Casualty
1745 – 1800 Closing Parade

0378. The attire for all members will be Half-u. (i.e. St John t-shirt/ PE t-shirt and St John culottes for nursing; St John t-shirt and long pants for ambulance; boots, beret, name tag and St John belt.) Members are reminded to polish their boots. Nursing members are to bring their hairnets/bun nets.

0379. All members are reminded to bring a 1.5 litre ice mountain water bottle,ear hooks,home nursing booklet, cut their fingernails and have adequate rest the night before.

0380. Any members who are applying to be excused from this Friday's training are to do so before Tuesday, 1st July 2008 to their respective Platoon SGTs.

0381. Any outstanding excuse letters that are not submitted are to be done so by this
Tuesday, 1st July 2008. Submissions are to be made to the respective Platoon SGTs. The style of the letter should be of the acceptable format.

0382. All members are reminded to pay the respective amounts for March,April and May Fund by next training, Tuesday, 1st July 2008.

Amazing Race to Sentosa


Day: Saturday

Meetup venue: Temasek Secondary School (TMS)
Meetup time: Morning 8am

Summary of event:

1.Assemble point at TMS
2.Starts race to Sentosa
3.Races to checkpoints
4.Mid day lunch (pit stop)
5.1 x yield in between
6.Results of winner

7.Event will end during late afternoon


UPDATES:

Cadets are to bring their own lunch money or their own lunch and consent forms or inform your parents.Wearing of shoes and bringing of ez link card is compulsory.Make sure that your ez link card has sufficient money for the race.
Cadets are also reminded to bring extra money to pay for treasure fund.

Next Tuesday, 24th June 2008, is our Annual SJAB Day.
In conjunction to this day,an annual special ceremony will be conducted and a message will be read during morning assembly.

All Sec 1 to 3 SJAB cadets are to report to school by 6:45am and assemble at the parade square by 7:00am.Cadets are reminded to report punctually as it is an important event.
All Sec 1 to 3 SJAB cadets will also be required to wear their Full-Uniform on that morning. You will be allowed to change back to your school uniform after flag raising.

Below is the schedule of what is going to happen:

6:45am - Cadets are to reach school and be ready

7:10am - 7:15am - Cadets will fall in at parade square to form up in their respective contingents and get ready for flag raising.

7:25am - After school is ready for flag-raising, the ceremony commander will give the command for the school to stand at attention.

7:25am - 7:30am - After singing national anthem and reciting of Singapore pledge,the ceremony commander will give the command for school to stand at ease and sit down.The SJAB contingent will have to remain standing, but at ease.

7:30am - 7:40am - Reciting of SJAB message for SJAB Day 2008 by reciter.

7:40am - 7:55am - Daily announcements to school.

7:55am - School is dismissed for lessons and cadets will also change back into their school uniform. After which, they will join back their classes for lessons.

Cadets are reminded to have light breakfast and drink sufficient water before going to school as they will be standing for a period of time.All cadets are also reminded to polish your boots and to bring ear hooks and beret. All nursing cadets are reminded to bring your bun and hair nets.

5.There will be restpoints near familar places like the 2northern beaches, quarries,various huts for T-breaks (etc)
6.You have all the time till 11pm,recommended to leave for dinner no late than 6pm.
