Sunday, 31 March First Aid and Foot Drill Competition

Just a gentle reminder to competition teams, stewards and time keeper. 

Attire: SJAB FULL Uniform/black socks and boots

Meeting time: 8.30am

Meeting venue: SJAB Lift Level 1

All cadets are to have heavy breakfast. Lunch will be provided by SJAB HQ. 

*Note that No. 2 cadet from each team MUST check and bring FA Box to competition venue. 

Message for causalities. 

Please assemble at 8.30am in SJAB HQ for the briefing and preparation. You are to wear old dark tee-shirt with PE Shorts.

THE COMPETITION WILL END AT 5pm on SUNDAY, 31 MARCH 2013.

In preparation for 31 March FA and Foot Drill Competition, all Competition Teams (including steward, timekeeper) are to come to school to prepare their uniforms and boots.


Time: 8am to 12pm
Venue: SJAB ROOM in Temasek Sec
*Bring SJAB Uniform for ironing and boots for polishing.

Do note that there is no physical training on Sat, 30 March 2013. Should any team requires small rehearsal/practice, do allow the training to conduct within 2 hours to avoid heat exhaustion and injuries as competition is on Sunday, 31 March 2013.

SANA COURSE on Friday, 22 MARCH 2013

Time to assemble: 8am

Venue to assemble: Temasek Sec School Foyer

Attire: School Attire or PE Attire

What to BRING: A notebook, 2B pencils, easer, pen, A Jacket, an umbrella and money for lunch.

 

Course will end at 5.30pm.

*A one-way bus will send cadets to the Seng Kang Community Centre (where SANA course will be held). Please note that cadets will need to arrange their own transport at 5.30pm.

SANA COURSE INFORMATION

This SANA course is targeted at Secondary 1-3 St Johns’ Ambulance Brigade members as part of their requirement for the Cadet Proficiency Badge Scheme (CPBS). To complete this course, participants must pass a written test (held on the day of the course) as well as an online practical assignment (to be completed within the stipulated deadline).

• Section A – MCQs

o 20 Qns (40 marks)

• Section B – True/False

o 10 Qns (20 marks)

• Passing Mark

o 50% (30 marks) Practical Assignment

• Proceed after passing written TEST to earn SANA Badge

This KOTO online assessment is only for Sec 2 -4 cadets who have not passed/sat for the assessment. Do revise by reading the notes that has been handed out. The official duration of the assessment will be 60 minutes from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
