Dear cadets,

There is a change in schedule for CCA on Tuesday.

In view of the BFA Exam for Sec 1 cadets & Wan Xuan, we will be having FA training and Photography Session in SCHOOL instead. The schedule is as follows:

CCA RESUMES ON TUE, 28 MAY 2013

Attention all Sec 1-3 cadets

CCA Resumes on Tue, 28 May 2013.
OUTDOOR PHOTOGRAPHY OUTING @ East Coast Park
Time: 2.30pm - 5.30pm
Meeting Venue: School foyer (chartered 2-way bus)
Attire: PE Attire/SJAB Tee-shirts/ Shorts and school shoes.
What to bring?
To prepare on 27 May 2013.
- portable camera (with full charged battery and memory card)
- Water bottle/ some snacks
- some money for tea break at Macdonald or food centre

By the end of the outing, you are to capture at least 25 images on the following theme:
1) Nature
2) Outdoor
3) Speed (requires fast shutter speed, Tripod might be needed)

25 images will be submitted to Mdm Farhanah by the end of the photography outing.

You may start taking some photographs before 28 May 2013. Do login to youtube videos/website to check out some photography techniques. Canon website has good webpage to introduce some basic aspect of Photography.

Time: 8.45am to 1pm
Venue: SJAB HQ
Attire: St. John T-shirt, school shorts/pants, school shoes
Things to bring: Stationery, first aid manuel book, notebook, 1 standard triangular bandage & roller bandage.

TUE, 21 MAY 2013: SEC 1 EXTRA LESSON FOR BFA EXAM

Dear Sec 1 cadets and Wan Xuan

There will be an extra Basic First Aid session on Tue, 21 May 2013 conducted by Sec 3 Platoon Sergeants.

Time: 4.30pm-6pm
Venue: SAJB Room
Materials to bring: A watter bottle, Pencil case, FA Manuals and FA notes (attached with consent form).

As the Basic First Aid Exam on Sat, 1 June 2013, appreciate full attendance as we need to cover and prepare you for your Basic First Aid Examination.

SAT, 18 May 2013: SEC 2-3 BNCO/ANCO COURSE INFORMATION

Dear Sec 2-3 Cadets

A gentle reminder for all NCO Course 2013 trainees that Course Day 1 will start at 8.00am on this Saturday, 18 May 2013. Here are the following details:


Date: 18 May (Sat), 8.00am-6pm
Reporting Venue: SJAB HQ, Level 3 Hall
Reporting attire: Full Uniform

Things to bring: Writing materials, Notebook, 1.5L water bottle (filled, disposable, clear and transparent, label removed)

Please urge all trainees to have breakfast before reporting for the course. Lunch will be provided.

As this is a training course, all trainees are expected to have a high standard of turnout and bearing, including personal grooming. Do remember to have short and neat haircut (males) and to trim their fingernails (males/females) before attending the course.
