1. This Friday, 31st October 2008 will be briefing and finalisation for Open house duties and performance. We will also have one last rehearsal.

2. Attire for this Friday is Pt Kit(St John t-shirt, PE t-shirt and PE shorts).

3. All members are reminded that from next training onwards, there must be Standardization of attire among your platoon. If the platoon has decided to wear PE shorts, the whole platoon will have to wear PE shorts. Same goes for the shirt. If the attire are not standardized, the whole platoon will receive the punishment.

4. This Saturday, 1st November 2008 is the Open house. It will be from 11am to 2pm. SJAB will be carrying out first aid duties as well as promotion duties at the booth. The performance will take place at 12.45.

5. Attire for this Saturday is Full-U(i.e. St. John blouse and culottes for Nursing; ST John shirt and long pants for ambulance, boots, berets, nametags, and St. John Belt). Only those who are told to bring Pt attire are allowed to change into Pt Kit when the performance is starting, otherwise it is Compulsory for the rest to be in Full Uniform.

6.Lastly, members are reminded to check the Duties Slot in the previous post, contact your respective Platoon Sgts if there is any problem with the slot allocated to you.

1.This Sunday,14th September is SJAB'S annual walkathon.Below are the details for the walkathon:

-Cadets are to report to HQ at Lavender by 7:45am.
-Cadets are to wear PT kit for the walkathon.
-Cadets are recommended to bring water to hydrate themselves and to eat light breakfast before coming.
-Cadets who are not participating in the walkathon must have valid reason and inform your respective platoon sergeants.

These are the details for tomorrow's annual cross country.

1.Time to report in school : 6.00am sharp. (latest 6.10 am.)Anyone who is coming late should inform your respective platoon sergeants.All cadets should be reporting in Full-u. (Take note not to sling your bags over your Full u.)

2.The bus will leave around 6.15-6.30am.All cadets will take their belongings with them as they will not be going back to school.It is a one way transport.

3.Cadets will reach East Coast park and stationed according to their venues.The event will end around 11.30am.

4.Cadets are suggested to bring water just in case it is not provided.Handphones are allowed.

5.During the duty,if there is any serious injuries (fainting,heat stroke,heat exhaustion,fracture etc.), contact your OC,2nd OC or ADM who will be stationed at the first aid booth.

Next Tuesday, 24th June 2008, is our Annual SJAB Day.
In conjunction to this day,an annual special ceremony will be conducted and a message will be read during morning assembly.

All Sec 1 to 3 SJAB cadets are to report to school by 6:45am and assemble at the parade square by 7:00am.Cadets are reminded to report punctually as it is an important event.
All Sec 1 to 3 SJAB cadets will also be required to wear their Full-Uniform on that morning. You will be allowed to change back to your school uniform after flag raising.

Below is the schedule of what is going to happen:

6:45am - Cadets are to reach school and be ready

7:10am - 7:15am - Cadets will fall in at parade square to form up in their respective contingents and get ready for flag raising.

7:25am - After school is ready for flag-raising, the ceremony commander will give the command for the school to stand at attention.

7:25am - 7:30am - After singing national anthem and reciting of Singapore pledge,the ceremony commander will give the command for school to stand at ease and sit down.The SJAB contingent will have to remain standing, but at ease.

7:30am - 7:40am - Reciting of SJAB message for SJAB Day 2008 by reciter.

7:40am - 7:55am - Daily announcements to school.

7:55am - School is dismissed for lessons and cadets will also change back into their school uniform. After which, they will join back their classes for lessons.

Cadets are reminded to have light breakfast and drink sufficient water before going to school as they will be standing for a period of time.All cadets are also reminded to polish your boots and to bring ear hooks and beret. All nursing cadets are reminded to bring your bun and hair nets.

For all members:
1500 – 1530 Opening Parade/ Uniform Check
1530 – 1630 First Aid
1630 – 1645 Break
1645 – 1715 Foot Drill
1715 – 1745 See Below:

Sec 1s:Foot Drill
1745 – 1800 Closing Parade


0323. The attire for all members will be Half-u. (St John t-shirt/ PE t-shirt (for sec 2s) and St John culottes for nursing; St John t-shirt and long pants for ambulance; boots, beret, name tag and St John belt.) Members are reminded to polish their boots. Nursing members are to bring their hairnets and bun nets. Sec one members will be wearing PT kit. (i.e. PE t-shirt and trackpants.)

0324. All members are reminded to bring a 1.5 litre ice mountain water bottle, first aid manual,cut their fingernails and have adequate rest the night before.

0325. Any members who are applying to be excused from this Tuesday's training are to do so before Tuesday, 11th April 2008 to their respective Platoon SGTs.

0326. Any outstanding excuse letters that are not submitted are to be done so by this Tuesday, 11th April 2008. Submissions are to be made to the respective Platoon SGTs.The style of the letter should be of the acceptable format.

0327. All Sec 2 members are reminded to pay $2 for the February fund and $2 for the March Fund by next training,Tuesday,11th April 2008.
